Six Months

I really can’t believe that Nora has been in our lives for six whole months! Sometimes it feels that it was just yesterday we came back from the hospital… sometimes it feels like she’s been around forever!

One thing for sure, I can’t imagine my life without her.

She’s suffering from separation anxiety at the moment. And I guess I’m not really helping by letting her sleep with us in our bed… but I love cuddling her in bed, even if it means I don’t really get a good night’s sleep.

I will try harder to put her in her own bed. We’ve decided to get her a grown up bed! Well, it’s an extendable bed… it grows longer as she grows taller. I know some people don’t agree with us on this. We are going to put a guard on the bed… and maybe bubba will fall off a couple of times. Kids and accidents happens. We can’t molly cuddle them all the time, wrap them in bubble and wipe all the bacteria from every surface.

If we get a cot, she might get her head stuck between the slats and knowing her, she will attempt to climb out and the fall from the top of the cot will be higher than the fall off the bed.

Anyway, she’s six months. She’s a big girl… wish she’d slow down. I want her to stay small a bit longer!
