The last couple of evenings, Nora just can’t get settled. My poor mite has a really bad cold. She’s been sneezing and coughing that she couldn’t have a decent nap or a proper night’s sleep.

I did take her to the doctor’s yesterday as I was worried about her chesty cough… we have a history of asthma sufferers in my family so I was worried about her.

The doctor seemed to think that it’s a normal cold and the gurgling is due to the snot. Oh well… I do try to suck it out of her nose but she hates it and would give me a hard time by moving her head side to side so I won’t get to her nose. Poor thing… it must be uncomfortable having an apparatus shoved in your nose and someone trying hard to suck the snot out.

So, after such busy days out almost everyday of the month, I think my bubba deserves a day of rest. We’ll stay home today. I’ll just have to find things to amuse her while I try to clean the house.

Anyway, it is cold out there!
