Nora held her bottle this morning! It was only for a couple of minutes but that was good enough for me
My hand was free to check my e-mails.
OK… Nora has to burp after her meal. And she is just a baby so she doesn’t know it’s not ladylike to fart whenever she wants. But I do think I should stop her from developing another habit!
She was screaming earlier on so I picked her up and held her on my lap as I deleted all the spam on this blog. I gave her a little piece of plastic as she likes the scrunchy noise it makes. A few moments later, all I heard from her was ‘mmm, mmm, mmm’.
I turned her around and she was licking her snot! Hmmmm… must be nice and salty. She does have a bit of a runny nose.
All I could do was wipe her nose and shake my head.
She didn’t like it… that her nose is nice and dry now. So she screamed. Now she’s on the bed. I told her to cry herself to sleep as it is her afternoon nap time.
Talking about screaming, it’s funny… when she was a tiny baby she found the sound of the vacuum cleaner soothing. Now, she hates it and cries every time I switch it on. Weird.

lol !! Or perhaps I shouldn’t laugh ;-p At least, she’s still a baby, so it’s kind of ‘permissible’. You shd start getting worried when they’re that bit older and start digging their noses and eating the bogey. Eeeewwww. No, not my kids (yet lol) but other friends’ kids. And on another note, you’ve just reminded me that I used to leave the hairdryer on next to Louise’s cot (or pushchair, if she napped in there) and that would more or less calm her down and send her to sleep.
