Jules told me he was heading to the shed. I asked him to have a peep into Nora’s room to see if her blanket is still on her and she hadn’t kicked it off during her tantrum.

Jules came back in the living room and said ‘I can’t tell… there’s an elephant in the room’

When Nora sleeps on her bed, she has Cookie Monster and Laura the elephant to keep her company. Seven times out of ten, she will put Laura on her while she sleeps and block my easiest line of vision when I want to check on her.

I think she uses Laura as a trap so I’ll try to tiptoe into her room and step on the squeaky floor… to alert her… Mama’s in the room! Time to wake up and cry and get her to cuddle me!!!
