I had some Malay Eid songs playing in the background courtesy of youtube and I shed some tears. No matter how I try to recreate… it will never be the same as home… And even if I was home, it wouldn’t be the same either… how I miss my late grandparents. They made everything so special on Eid.

But I Nora need to know that it is a special day after a month of fasting. I am glad that towards the end of Ramadan, she did get the fact that I’m fasting, therefore I can’t eat or drink with her during dinner time. And now that one of her chores is to set the dinner table, she only set a place for Jules and her as she knows… “Mama puasa”.

So yesterday, as I said, Nora and I got busy in the kitchen.
